October

This month has been a busy one, but we've been busy having fun! At the beginning of the month we packed up and headed back to Southern California. We spent a couple of days at Disneyland, visited some of our L.A. friends, and Dustin attended a C.E. course while Avery and I had fun at the pool. It was great spending time with good friends and Avery had a blast at Disneyland. We were both amazed at how much she remembered it. She loved the Dumbo ride, Winnie the Pooh, and the Carousel (which she named the Caro-horse).

We also spent one afternoon at Seven Falls here in Colorado Springs. Dustin was a trooper and carried Avery up all of those flights of stairs! When we got to the top of the waterfall we did short hike and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and Fall air.

Two weekends ago we packed up the car for a quick weekend trip to St. George to spend time with the Dial family. We had so much fun and wish that we didn't live so far away. The boys went golfing, the girls did some outlet shopping, we visited snow canyon, ate way too much good food, played rock band, and stayed up late playing games and visiting. Avery had a great time being with her cousins especially playing with the "big girls". This trip ended way too fast, and before we knew it, we were driving back home again.

This past weekend my brother and his cute wife came out to visit. We love having visitors!! We played Make A Million, watched college football, and went to Garden of the Gods. My poor brother also had some dental work done, so Lindsey and I got to check out the Castle Rock Outlets.

So, that has been our crazy October. I can't believe that we will be dressing up in costumes at the end of the week and then the month will be over!
