Last weekend we visited the Colorado Springs Zoo with our friends the Kirby's. The zoo is basically on the side of the mountain, so there were great views of the city and good exercise for the parents! We saw a lot of animals but our favorite exhibit were the giraffe. You are right next to them, and you can get giraffe crackers and feed them. Avery was a little bit timid at first, but with some help, warmed up to the idea.

Hi, Sarah! So, we're blogging now, too. Our address is hsovertonfam.blogspot.com. Soooooo...Howie has applied for a job in Colorado Springs in the Police Dept. We've only heard good things about C.S. It may be awhile before we hear back from them, but sure sounds fun. Cool- we could have play dates nearly everyday if it works out... :)
