Last night was the Halloween Trunk or Treat at our church, so we got Avery all dressed up in her lion costume. At first it was a struggle to get her to keep the head piece on, but as soon as she saw herself in the mirror and saw that she was a lion, (Avery loves to pick out lions in her books), she didn't touch it for the rest of the night.
We were also a little bit worried that she would have a hard time walking with all of her "new hair", but that didn't seem to bother her either. She had a great time seeing all of the other kids in their costumes and dancing to the music.

She has a better roar than her dad...and is a whole heck of a lot cuter too. Love the costume!!! It's a good thing she takes after her mom.
